A daily service that scans online marketplaces (currently eBay) for paintings, scores each one on value signals — vintage look, frame quality, artist signature research, provenance keywords, size — and shows you the most promising finds.
Is the Scout score a valuation?
No. The Scout score is an automated opinion to help you shortlist paintings worth a closer look. It is not an appraisal, valuation, or authentication. For anything serious, consult a professional.
Does Cherished Canvas sell paintings?
No. Cherished Canvas links to the listing on the original marketplace, and purchases happen there under that marketplace's terms. Some links are referral links, which earn a small commission at no extra cost to the buyer.
How do daily alerts work?
Confirm your email via the sign-in link and you'll receive a daily digest of top finds. You can unsubscribe with one click from any email.
What regions and marketplaces are covered?
Saved searches take a postcode and radius. Coverage is currently UK-focused via eBay, with more marketplaces and regions planned.
How is my data used?
Cherished Canvas stores your email, preferences, and which listings you view so recommendations improve. You can request deletion of your data at any time — see the Privacy Policy for details.
Why am I seeing a particular recommendation?
Each recommendation shows its rationale (for example, "you bookmarked three Impressionist landscapes"). Use "Show more like this" or "Show less like this" on any find to tune what you see.
